This blog is dedicated to encouraging people to both read and heed (obey) the Bible. It is intended as a place to turn for encouragement and helpful suggestions regarding the reading of God's Word.
Psalm 91 is one of my favorite Psalms. It has comforted me many times during my life. Also, I was thinking as I read Luke 18:35-43, that we need to be like the blind man. When the world is telling us to be quiet, and stop calling on Jesus, that is when we need to be louder! It tells us in Proverbs to acknowledge Him in all our ways. I know that sometimes we don't do this, but we need to keep an eternal perspective on things. Our time on Earth is temporary - our time in Heaven is eternal.
I almost forgot ~ because the blind man refused to be quiet, he was healed and that caused others to praise Jesus! God can use our obedience in the same way!
